In this local news coverage parody, our team was on the ground at USA Network’s "Purge City" supply store activation at the 2018 San Diego Comic Con to hear first-hand how people are prepping for the big night.
This custom video approach made the most of The Purge’s fully realized universe, while adding The Onion's signature tone, priming audiences for engagement and fan reach. After the broadcast, the show’s tune-in was seamlessly included.

In addition to distributing our custom video on-site, we furthered audience engagement for Gearin’ Up For The Purge by leveraging Facebook and Twitter. The audience’s reactions were incredible.
